Prior to joining DM Development as CFO, Mr. Beck’s experience included several years as CFO with the Santa Lucia Preserve, a 20 thousand acre residential development and land conservancy with 300 home sites, a golf course, equestrian center and small hotel. He was also co-managing partner of a firm that developed second home resort communities, it’s foremost project, a $100M plus residential resort located on the northern part of the Sea of Cortez, Mexico. Mr. Beck also served as the CFO and was on the initial development team for El Dorado, a prominent private golf and residential development in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Mr. Beck’s background includes “Big Four” accounting and M&A transactional due diligence as a senior manager for PwC. He is a CPA and a CFA charterholder.

Mr. Beck received a BSBA from Boston University and earned his Master’s in Real Estate Development at the University of Southern California, Price School of Public Policy. Mr. Beck is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and serves on the Board of Chartwell School in Monterey, CA, the first LEED Certified Platinum School and campus in the country.

Ms. Braver is veteran San Francisco real estate development project manager with a rare and diverse disciplinary skill set covering every aspect of the development process, several real estate product types and experience in both the public and private sectors. In the past decade, she has primarily focused on for-sale multi-family development management in San Francisco for several best-in-class Bay Area real estate developers, including Hines, JMA Ventures, Martin Building Company and AF Evans. In these posts, Ms. Braver led and executed due diligence, feasibility, entity formation, regional and municipal environmental and planning entitlement, affordable and conventional debt and equity procurement, environmental remediation, design/engineering/construction management, Bureau of Real Estate (BRE) entitlement, and marketing and real estate sales efforts. Prior to her development work, Ms. Braver specialized in construction management, urban design, architecture and city planning for Class-A commercial high-rise and low-rise real estate product.

Ms. Braver holds a Master of Urban Design and Planning from the University of Washington in Seattle and a Bachelor of Architecture in Structures from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, SPUR, and the San Francisco Housing Action Coalition (HAC).

GEOFFREY HERRICK

Mr. Herrick serves as the Chief Operating Officer for DM Development.  He is involved in all aspects of the company’s development projects.  He was formerly a Partner at The Mark Company where he oversaw sales and marketing for a portfolio of urban condominium projects in San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.  Mr. Herrick also previously served as Senior Director at Tishman Speyer where he worked on notable projects including The Infinity, Lumina, and 1400 Mission Street in San Francisco.  Earlier, he also worked in Tishman Speyer’s Emerging Markets group focused on acquisitions and development in China.

Mr. Herrick holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Colby College and a Master’s of Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley.   He serves on the San Francisco Residential Product Council for the Urban Land Institute.

NAVID SARRAFZADEH

Mr. Sarrafzadeh serves as the Director of Construction for DM Development.  His focus is the safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery of DM’s projects.  Mr. Sarrafzadeh is engaged early in the development process ​to help guide and provide early cost control for the design, general contracting, and trade procurement processes.  Mr. Sarrafzadeh was previously with Webcor Builders, where he helped lead projects across a variety of product and construction types in Northern and Southern California including:​ multifamily residential, ​commercial, and institutional facilities.  Notable projects in his portfolio ​include:​ Foundry Square III, UC Berkeley's Cal Memorial Stadium seismic retrofit and Stiles Hall student housing addition, UC San Diego graduate student housing, and the Palms condominiums in SOMA​.

Mr. Sarrafzadeh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture with an emphasis in Construction Management from the University of California at Berkeley. He currently serves as an advisor at his alma mater, is an Adjunct Professor at CSU East Bay, and is an active member of the Lean Construction Institute (LCI), the Design Build Institute of America (DBIA), ULI, and SPUR.
