Mr. Bootman serves as DM Development’s Director of Acquisitions and Development. Mr. Bootman brings over 12 years of commercial real estate experience, having completed over $3B in transactions in the multifamily and commercial sectors throughout the West Coast, including over 5,000 multifamily units and 12 million square feet of commercial properties.

Mr. Bootman was previously a Vice President of Acquisitions at Kennedy Wilson (NYSE: KW), focusing on acquisitions on the West Coast on behalf of the firm’s commingled funds and balance sheet investments. Earlier, Mr. Bootman was a Vice President at George Smith Partners, a boutique capital advisory firm, where he focused on raising debt and equity capital on behalf of real estate sponsors.

Mr. Bootman started his career at Pacific Life Insurance Company, originating debt and equity investments to some of the largest real estate developers in the U.S.

Mr. Bootman holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley and a Master’s of Business Administration from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
